I am an 7onis user, how do I exercise my data subject rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

This page provides some general information on how to contact 7onis in order to exercise your data subject rights under the GDPR. If you require additional information or would like to exercise any of your rights under applicable data protection laws, please email us.

Account Deactivation

I want to deactivate my account, what do I need to do?

You can deactivate your account yourself at any time.

To deactivate your account:

  1. Go to Account on 7onis.com
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Deactivate my account

When you deactivate your account, any current reservations you have as a host or a guest will be deemed automatically canceled by you and the relevant cancellation policy applicable to the reservation will apply.

If, in the future, you want to reopen a deactivated account, you will need to contact us.

Is deactivation the same thing as a deletion request?

No. They are two different things. When you chose to deactivate your account, this allows you to reactivate your account if you so wish later.

You can request permanent deletion of your personal data and closure of your 7onis account at any point by submitting a data deletion request as outlined below under Account Deletion.

Account Deletion

I would like to delete or erase my account, what do I need to do?

You can submit a deletion request (or ask us to erase your personal information) at any time in accordance with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Once your request is processed, your personal information will be permanently deleted and your account will be permanently closed. This means that we will no longer be able to provide our services to you and if you decide to use 7onis again in the future, you will need to set up a new account.

You may exercise your rights to have your personal data deleted by sending us an email. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before taking further action on your request.

Data Access

I would like to get a copy of some, or all the personal data 7onis holds about me, what do I need to do?

For immediate access to a large amount of the information which is held about you, you can visit the Dashboard of your 7onis account. If you need any help navigating the Dashboard information, please contact 7onis Support.

Data Portability

What does my right to portability give me access to?

If you exercise this right, you have an entitlement to receive certain personal data which you have provided to 7onis in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Object to Processing

I want to object to 7onis’s processing of some of my personal data for certain specific purposes, what do I do?

If allowed under the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside, you may request that 7onis not to process your personal information for certain specific purposes (including profiling) where such processing is based on legitimate interest. If you object to such processing, 7onis will no longer process your personal information for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for such processing, or such processing is required for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
